Refund policy
Returns & Refunds Policy (Scan Club Membership)
Scan Club Membership is a 36-month fixed-term contractual programme that includes digital educational services, access to protected online materials, conference entitlements, and the provision of subsidised educational equipment(the IDDA Scanner).
Because these services and equipment are supplied as part of a bundled, fixed-term contract, Scan Club orders are not eligible for return, cancellation, or refund once the scanner has been dispatched or access to the course has been granted.
No Returns or Cancellations
We do not accept returns of:

Scan Club Membership
-
IDDA Scanners supplied under the membership
-
Any equipment or accessories supplied as part of the Scan Club agreement
-
Digital courses, PGCert access, or educational content
-
Conference tickets or entitlements included within the membership
Once your order is placed, your membership contract signed, and the scanner dispatched, the sale is final and non-refundable.
This is because Scan Club constitutes a fixed-term educational contract with digital services that begin immediately and subsidised equipment that is provided solely for use within the programme.
Damaged or Incorrect Equipment
If the scanner is delivered damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery at info@idda.org.
Eligible faults will be handled through our Hot Swap service, in line with the Scan Club Membership Agreement.
We do not offer refunds or returns for damaged goods; we replace or repair them under the Hot Swap process.
Exceptions (Not Applicable to Scan Club)
The following are not applicable to Scan Club Membership, and therefore do not apply:

Standard consumer 14-day cooling-off periods

Change-of-mind returns

Try-before-you-buy arrangements

Exchanges or returns for different products

Refunds for digital courses once access is granted
Scan Club is a fixed-term commercial agreement and is explicitly excluded from these consumer-return categories under UK law.
European Union Cooling-Off Period (Not Applicable)
The statutory EU 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to:

Digital educational content accessed immediately
-
Custom or subsidised equipment provided under a fixed-term agreement
-
Commercial-use equipment
-
Services that begin before the cooling-off period ends
Because Scan Club meets these criteria, EU cooling-off rights do not apply.
